The Writer Says

Whenever I want to blog, my laziness just stops me. Two weeks I have been sick, lazy, learnt and experience many things.

Hmm..I really got no idea where to start from. Well lets say abt the 1st meeting I had to attend with my boss and a company I am dealing with. 9 people in the meeting room and I am the only Indian the rest were Chinese. Well it was a little weird. 4 of them were from the company I was dealing with and the rest 5 were from my own company including my boss and me. I was the only one who brought just a notebook and a pen and the rest from my company came with a file and big list as in what to discuss and etc. But as for me I answered all questions like I had the answers in my finger tips. After meeting, we all went to Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant. I know what some might be thinking. The best part I don’t know how to use a chopstick. *pls don’t laugh. But the waiter was too sweet that he came to me and ask whether I want my utensils to be changed. I just gave him a smile and said yes. Oh my interesting food and service. The experience just made me laugh.

Been totally weak and sick but I was a workaholic. I had to finish some work in time, and didn’t bother to take a MC till I pass my work and yes I did it on time and took MC last Friday. My sinus is really bad that my nose is bleeding. I guess my body is too heaty.

Though I can’t participate in Thaipusam, I went with my cousin sis and my lil nephews just to watch other Kavadis. This year there were fewer Kavadis and more people. Youngsters were terrible, ladies wore like they were competing with each other as whose sari is the best and yeah some looked like walking jewellery. Men, holding on to their gf’s hand but looking at another girl. Using of vulgar language like a common thing at a pious place. Haiz. A few Kavadis were beautiful and they really sang well and nice to see in between on all the hooligans and barbarians.

Been having neck strain and split headache often and the cause I am really not sure. Been taking drowsy medicines just to get some sleep but the suprising thing, the effect of the drowsiness does not seem to work.

Planning to have a haircut but still contemplating on what style to do.

Had some misunderstanding with my best friend, Shamini in an e-conversation. Sometime we just have to accept the changes or else we won’t be able to take it when reality hits us. But for now the sea of our friendship is calm *Smiles*

Last week I had to go to Ritz-Carlton to collect some medical claims from their HR. I took a cab from my work place as I reached Ritz, one man bowed and welcomed me. I was like some royal queen dropped down from an unknown place. I walked to the bell boy asking where was the security room for me to change my pass. He accompanied me and asked where am I working and etc. As I walking to the security room I was greeted by many people, “Good Morning Maam” Lolz dey must be thinking I am a big shot. I reached the security room and changed my pass as I wrote my name in the Visior’s book, the bellboy asked “so Miss Durga, how has work been and I juz looked at him and replied work is fine Mr Kalai. He smiled and he accompanied till the HR. When I went in, there were 3 Indian girls waiting to be interviewed. They gave me a look like “wah who is this big shot where everyone is welcoming her”. LOL!!! One of dem even said that I might be the one who is going to interview them. ROFLOL. Well it was a real nice and funny experience for me.

Lastly just want to say that I Learnt about being independent and yeah am trying to get comfy with it.
