It has been a long time@Saturday, November 10, 2007

Deepavali, Festival of lights but for me it was slightly darker den I expect. The Deepvali show Vasantham Central organize was good. Though I have some comments to make.
The list goes like this:

The stage was quite far from the audience.
Some point of time the sound system was not dat good.
Some of the singers, esp gals, deir clothes were too tight..
The one which was quite irritating was the hosts comments.
Esp Vishnu. Alright I agree that sometimes I like his jokes n stuff.
But dat night of the show, I guess he commented on gals a lil too much.
On how dey shld dress, and how dey use to behave and stuff.
First of all he has no rights to comment on a gal’s dressing.
It doesn’t mean dat gals who wear tank tops and tubes are bad gals or something.
Please dun provoke the female genders to speak out abt men! U will really feel guilty.
But in any case not all Men are bad guys either.

Aitez enuff of commenting. Now lets gif compliment abt it.
The dancers were great, their costumes were nice.
Good selection of songs.
Put in the effort to do the show like a New Year Count Down.
Fireworks
The number of days and time spent for rehearsals.

That’s all for that issue. I am not trying to say dat dey did a ultimate bad show. They put in da effort and it din go to waste as it was super crowded.
It has been a very long time ever since I did certain things in life. As I was traveling in the train, I note down wad are da things I never did or get for quite some time and the list went on like this:

It has been a long time ever since:

My feelings and emotions are described in pictures..scroll down

Travellin in train, life n desires@Wednesday, November 07, 2007

Updating entries for blog can be tedious at times coz we blogger haf so much things to speak out, complain abt, praise abt or even curse about. Before I go with the flow of complaining abt certain stuffs, firstly I would like to wish all my dear Indians a Happy Deepavali. May the Festival of Lights Brighten Up Your Life.

Now heading to the issues of the month.
Travelling to and fro from Khatib to Bugis and vice versa, in the train, really makes my blood pressure goes up. Lets go in details…

Pregnant whom should wear a top saying “mind the bump”, “I need the seat more than u”, “don’t pretend that u are sleeping” dis kind of taglines may help when the train is super crowded. I bold the word “May” is becoz be it if u were tops which haf hinting taglines or u r pegnant and its super obvious u will neva get a seat in the train esp from Singaporeans.
That doesn’t mean not even one gives up the seat. Yeah some times dey do and in that sumtimes, its not a Singaporean who gives the seat but a foreigner.

There was once I took the train, and a small boy who was age 3-4 years board the train from Novena. He had his hand bandage due to some injury. His parents was looking whether is dere seats. There was none and not even one gave up the seat. But within two stations, someone got down and the boy got da seat. But the following station, a pregnant woman boarded the train and dere was no seat. But da small boy got out of his seat and asked the lady to take his seat. Can u juz imagine how much of manners dis boy have compared to adults.

Alright I dun wanna dwell much abot pregnant ladies. Lets go to the next category.
People who are standing in the train.
Its already peak hour and da train is crowded. Yeah I can understand that every one wants to go home asap. Singaporeans are really into kiausism. They juz barge in the train knowing its already full wif people standing so close to the door where their tip of the nose is sticking close to the door. After dat when they are standing and holding on to the hand rails or the pole, dey lift deir hand so high where those who are standing near him/her are close to their armpit. If u are standing and holding on to the pole or hand railings, pls dun life ur arm so high up coz ppl dun wanna smell ur BO, armpit smell and stuff. If u are standing plz stand still instead of swinging ur arm as those u are in the monorail going to sentosa and enjoying the scenes.

Men!! I dun haf anything against dem but some really stoop low for a dignity of Male Gender. They juz push all those around them and enter the train.
There was a time where I waited at City Hall for the train and it was really SUPER crowded coz the under tunnel tracks were faulty. After sometime the train arrived which was already crowded. This two men who were standing behind me, literally PUSHED me and board the train and it was full already. I had no chance to board dat train. The men who pushed me, gave me da look like “yesh I got into da train before u” I juz said it out dat “Singapore men! Wad can I say!” Another incident. I was already in the train. This boy, who looks more of the age group of 17-19, push me and stand behind me juz becoz he wanted to play his stooped PSB!!!!! Come on guys I am not trying to say dat u must be Number 1 gentlemen and give way to ladies and u board the next train. But the least u can do is say excuse me or dun push.

Ladies are not excusable either. They board the train pushing everyone wif da big bags they carry. Yeah I can understand dat u wanna show off ur Gucci, Guess, LV bags and stuff. But if u noe dat u bag is bulky, pls carry it near to ur chest coz its being an inconvenient for those who wants to stand in the middle of the cabin and stuff.

If u haf let ur hair down, fine dats ur hair and ur business but stop flipping here and dere coz ur hair strands keep irritating the other parties who are surrounding u.. Ladies if u noe u push someone, say sorry or atleast give dem da look dat u are apologizing. Instead, I haf seen ladies staring eye to eye juz becoz dey pushed or dey were being pushed.

Da same incident earlier I said wen two men pushed me at City Hall, this gal who was standing behind me waiting for the train to arrive, kept hitting me when she was practically digging her bag for sum stuff. Ok I can understand dat u are baldy finding for something, but if u noe u are hitting someone plz move or stop wadeva u are doing. She kept hitting me for abt 5-6 times. I could not stand it and I turn ard and said “excuse me u are hitting me from juz now” and she juz stared right into my eyes and said wif sarcasm “oh I’m sorry and she rolled her eyes” I replied “u betta be” dats for the sarcasm and rolling of her eyes..

The next are couples. Look I noe dat u are meeting ur gf/bf, fiancé/fiancée, husband/wife after work and stuff or after a long time and all but in da train u behave wif some decency and consideration. Do not hold hands and stand at da door way not giving way for people who are boarding and alighting the train. Its really irritating. And stop being super duper touchy and intimate coz not always it a nice scene to see and we not only haf adults traveling but young kids and children.

I seriously think that the Courtesy Campaign is not helping Singaporeans. Look I dun haf anything against Singaporeans or wad. I am a patriotic Singaporean. But its juz dat I came across the other side of Singaporeans. Oh my!! There are even some Expatriates think we owe dem da world or somethings. Look u cam here from another country but dun think dat we depend on u or something coz u give us da look like we need to give u da space, da seat and etc. Mankind are really funny creations.

I guess I am sort of done complaining coz if I really go on and on…I can even write a book. Now lets get to da lifestyle of mine.

To inform everyone, my lil princess who was known as pinky gal and lil dino is Officially named HIROSHINI. It’s a goddess name. I will upload her pictures soon.

Work is getting more and more taxing but am juz going with it. Office politics is also getting out of hand but am least bothered by it as long as I am not involve in it.

After going through lot in life, I realized dat we human beings shld not haf desires, wishes or dreams coz if those can’t be fulfilled or granted its really a great disappointment and not everyone are given the super strong heart to accept disappointments.

When my mum was wif me, when I wanted to get myself something badly, I would drag her along and beg n gif da most innocent look and get wad I wanted. But now when I want something badly or haf some desire on something, I would juz go and look at da thing repeatively and tell to myself maybe one day I will buy and will juz walk away. In da end I will neva buy coz I feel its an extra expense for me.

Nowadays I dun dream, dun wish neither have any desire on anything. Or shld I say I try my level best not to. Its not dat I can’t afford it but juz dun wish to have an extra expense.

"People are distracted by objects of desire, and afterward repent of the lust they've indulged, because they have indulged with a phantomand are left even farther from Reality than before"
Aitez ppl dats all for now. Bidding Bye.
